Oil Spill Cleanup on Concrete: Lift It, Do Not Just Absorb It.

Concrete holds oil. Pads pull some off the top and the rest wicks in and stains. Hasten Cleanse breaks the bond between the hydrocarbon and the concrete, suspends it in water, and lets you rinse it to the separator. Shop floors, fuel islands, wash bays, containment pads. Water-based, non-flammable, non-hazardous rinse water.

Spray, brush, rinse. 1:20 for fresh spills, 1:50 for routine floor cleaning.
Rinse to the separator. Suspended oil in non-hazardous water. No solvent hitting your separator or the sewer.

On Concrete

Contain if it is running.
Spray Hasten Cleanse at 1:20. Vapor drops as it bonds.
Agitate with a stiff broom. This is where the lift happens.
Recover with vac or pads.
Rinse at 1:50 to the separator.

Absorbent pads soak up the oil and become oily waste you pay to dispose of. A diluted spray of Hasten Cleanse bonds to the hydrocarbon, suppresses the vapor coming off it, and lifts it from concrete, soil, steel, or water so it can be recovered. The spill gets cleaner, not just drier, and there is no bale of oily pads at the end.

Where It Is Used

Shop floors

Oil and hydraulic film. Routine cleaning at 1:50.

Fuel islands

Diesel and gasoline spills. 1:20, brush, rinse to the separator.

Wash bays and containment pads

Accumulated film. 1:20, agitate, rinse.

Limits

Old set-in stains may lighten but it is not a bleach or a solvent. It lifts hydrocarbon.

What Hasten Cleanse does not do

It is not a solvent and not a caustic. It will not dissolve, melt, or strip material that is physically bonded or baked onto a surface: scale, rust, hardened deposits, coatings. It lifts hydrocarbons, oil, grease, crude, sludge, and paraffin, by emulsifying them, and it needs agitation, circulation, pressure, or heat to do that work. If your problem is a stuck-on solid rather than a hydrocarbon film or residue, tell us and we will say so.

Pails, Drums, Shipping

No added bacteriaNothing in the pail is alive. Hasten Cleanse feeds the microbes you already have, in a treatment plant, a separator, or the soil, instead of competing with them.
